Refund Policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing specifying the player's name, date of birth, and address the refund should be made out to. Requests should include a proof of payment. The postmark on your envelope will determine the date of your request. Your request must be sent to the Norwin Soccer Club, PO Box 143, Irwin, PA 15642.
Requests made before the official start of the season will be entitled to a refund minus a $15.00 processing fee. Requests made after the offiical start of the season will not be eligible for a refund except in the case of a player who is unable to participate due to unforseen medical reasons. In the case of medical reason, a doctor's excuse will be necessary and credit for the next season may be given in lieu of a refund.
Full refund will be processed for players who signed up late and/or were unable to be placed on a team.

Century United / NSC Player Academy
For those seeking additional development for players U6-U11 Century United & Norwin have come together to form the Player Academy.
1. The Player Academy will be managed by:

Briam Shrumm - Site Coordinator
Rege Schuchert - NSC Player Development Coordinator.
2. Rec Division and Player Academy schedules are designed allow families the opportunity to participate in both programs without conflict.
3. The player academy training program will be an 8 session training series of technical & tactical skills.
4. Training will be 1hr sessions and is dynamic to understanding a U6 is more likely to be at a different level of development than a U10.
There has been questions during registration regarding the fall training offerings. Hopefully this will answer some of the questions you might have
Travel Programs
If your child has made a Norwin Select/Travel Team, they will have one practice a week with their coach/team, and one training session per week with NSC Trainers. This is the NSC TRAINING SESSIONS it is included in the registration price for the Travel Program. They will play in PA West Travel Divisions 3B-6.
CENTURY EAST TEAM ACADEMY: Also available to travel players (U9-U11) will be an additional night of training provided by our partner Century United. Training will take place at the Nike Facility. The discounted Academy costs for players participating in NSC programs is $50.
In House Programs
In House Teams will practice with their coach and team one night a week, and play on game a week. The registration fee has been discounted to reflect the change in the offering.
CENTURY EAST PLAYER ACADEMY: Available to in-house players (U6-U11) will be an additional night of training provided by our partner Century United. Training will take place at the Nike Facility. The discounted Academy costs for players participating in NSC programs is $50..
Why the Change?- NSC recognizes that players participating in the In House/Rec program U6-U10 have different individual levels of commitment. Some simply play for fun and exercise while others are looking to develop and compete at higher levels. Our goal is to offer options to satisfy individual needs while maintaining a healthy playing environment.
Cleaning up some verbage...
As we move forward we will need to clean up some terms in the programs offered to help with communication.
Academies: Partnership programs that will be offered at Norwin by Century United. Century United is the managing body that will assing trainers and define the program offering. Currently two academies are offered Player & Team.
The Player Academy: Training 1x/week, will be held at Nike, and is targeted to supplement players currently in soccer programs with an additional development session. The price of $50 is for players registering to participate on NSC teams. The academy is 8 sessions, and players will be awarded patches that they will be asked to attach to their team jersey.
The Century East Team Academy: (U9-U11) This is a full season (fall, winter, & spring) program offered by Century United. The teams practice and home field is Turner Valley. Flyers will be posted on our website + we will email communications to our subscribing community; however, detailed questions should be directed to the Team Academy Staff at Century.
NSC Training Session: Supplemental training offered to NSC members who completed a try-out or are currently playing on NSC Select/Travel teams this fall. This is included in your club fees and will be offered at Turner Valley on assigned nights. The training is purely optional & age groups may be consolidated to provide a cohesive session.
